Meanwhile In Ukraine…

Our lunch

After the 2 days of travel (Toronto-Frankfurt-Kiev) we arrived today to Chernivtsi. This city used to be my home and it feels good to be here. The weather is wonderful, 33C!
My cousin prepared a lovely non-meat lunch: 3 salads, cabbage rolls & stuffed peppers, and some low-saly herring – this is the last week of Lent for us (we are Christian Orthodox).

Turkish Coffee at The Viennese Coffee House

We spent the rest of the day wondering the streets of Old Town and then did some people-watching while sipping coffee at The Viennese Coffee House (Віденська Кав’ярня)

Looks like you are having a wonderful time there! I like the “people – watching” part…can imagine how wonderful it is to return and then simply sit and enjoy, letting the atmosphere to sink in. Enjoy!

Omgosh, what a long trip. You must be so happy to finally arrive. Lunch sounds really yummy and healthy. With all that dancing you did, you should have two sweets at the coffee house, yum. Happy days!
